Holiday 2009 campaign

Sugar & Spice Campaign A Brilliant Success
And everything’s nice when it’s gold and diamonds flying off the shelves at Whitby’s. Epps created a dazzling campaign to highlight the jewelry design of owner Michael Whitby and the jewelry store’s many events planned during the holiday season.

The results were shining examples of how we brand our clients’
businesses. The theme was Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice, which we carried out using oversized window decals to start. Then an
oversized postcard touted the theme as well as the holiday events.
To top it off, oversized gems were used to decorate inside and out to create a cohesive, trendy look.

Sales sparkled with 97 customers redeeming their postcards and
generating $16,500 in sales.

Direct Mail Postcard: 1-color printing, 3900 quantity mailed to their current customer database. For tracking purposes, customers were asked to redeem their coupons on each promotional day.
Total cost for concept, design, printing, mailing, postage and fulfillment: $2700.

Window Displays: Large vinyl circle decals were produced to announce the theme and the sale. Total cost for printing: $140.

In-Store Displays: Whitby’s purchased large gem diamond rings for decorating interior trees and swags.

Cindy Whitby, owner of Whitby Jewelers stated, “This year our holiday promotion brought in higher foot traffic, with 97 tracked customers spending $16,500. For a total investment of .69 per piece, the promotion generated an average sale of $170 per customer!”
