A great way to get people’s attention is to scare them! Kaplin Stewart, a large law firm in Philadelphia, Blue Bell, and Cherry Hill, NJ, did just that by having its client appreciation celebration, The Great Escape, held at the infamous Eastern State Penitentiary. They hired us to create a Save The Date e-blast and direct mail. Invitations followed, then a Wanted For Escape Pass was available for clients to go from the Penitentiary tour to dinner and drinks at a local restaurant.

Bonnie Vandenberg, the communications coordinator at Kaplin, reported, “Not only did the campaign create a buzz with well thought out strategy and creepy-fun creative, but we also had a terrific turnout that included friends of friends of clients! I thought Epps did a great job last year with our race track event, but they managed to surpass our expectations again. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next year, and neither can our clients!”
